Your thread about iron has beem extremely helpful. We just dug our first 2 acre pond to raise largemouth bass fingerlings. Our well water is coming out with an excessive amount of iron. I am thinking of trying some of the methods mentioned.
When the water goes through the bottom bucket, is it going into the pond, or has to sit in a holding area before you pump it to your pond?
Our well pumps at 320 gallons per minute, so I'm also a little concerned by that.
