I should have elaborated more on the size of the tadpoles. They are at least 3"-4" long right now and 25% of them are developing the legs. They can be seen across the entire pond while canoeing. The 2.5 acre pond has an estimated 3000+ tadpoles. I'm not sure my bass, which are 7"-9" are able to consume them at this time. Although I'm sure before the summer's end they will be large enough. My biggest concern is "Are they consuming DO". I have had issues with the DO content. I see the tadpoles on the surface gulping air but assume they must at this time be doing that because they are amphibians. Are they able to consume DO while being under water?
Thanks!
