Im from Texas, so don't know. But the standard measure is when the water temp hits about 58 to 65, different species spawn in that range.
Bluegill will spawn several times throughout the summer. Fathead minnows need structure to spawn on. They lay their eggs on the bottom side of limbs in the water. Lots of people throw in a few pallets for them.
