By my calculations (oval pond, 4' average depth) I am more in the 165,000-175,000 foot range. I don't want to put a fountain in, so it's a matter of finding the right diffused system. I have been looking at the HiBlow pumps but was confused by their chart. The HP60 says that it is good for 20,000 gallons or 1/4 acre and the HP80 is for up to 24,000 gallons or 1/2 acre. Those gallon numbers don't seem to match up with the acreage. What am I missing there? Thanks for the help.
