If you try to build a 9 acre lake and a 1 acre pond from a 10 acre lake sight you will end up with two ponds that are both smaller than 1 and 9 acres...you will have about a 7 and .7 acre pond.
Becarfull! make sure you shoot ALL your elevations right and make your measurements right for your dam. Remember, the dam takes up space as well...
