Update to this thread. About three years ago I purchased a half dozen Gee's minnow traps off Ebay. The Gee's are by far my favorite minnow trap. They last a long time and are superior to any of my other traps and are all I use now. I'm not promoting Amazon but here is a picture of one. Gee's minnow traps
