FYI Tx A&M Extension is putting on a conference in Conroe Tx March 19 ( www. peopleware.net/1542 ) on the subject of pond management & ect, it's a once every 2 year event!

Just a heads-up..the agenda has made changes from years past..private consultants are not on the program until the end, in a panel for Q&A. I emailed back and forth with Dr. Masser and he stated he thought the conference would be better directed and organized if agency people were the speakers, primarily because of technology such as power point. Seems his main concern is that conference goers have something tangible in their hands to take home, and agency people are very good at that.

It probably isn't feasible this time, but it would be fun if there was a Pond Boss booth at the conference where we could meet our fellow forum folks and exchange introductions and ideas. I'm not sure if there would be interest in this but I would enjoy it.

I've just found that I have a conflict that will keep me from attending. However, I would enjoy a get together to look each other in the eye on another occasion.
