I have a small mini-pond in my yard that stays "muddy" year round. It is natural clay bottom and I assume that's why it has never cleared up. I don't have any catfish in the pond, but there are a few small goldfish left over from an old galvanized stock tank I drained and there are bluegill and minnows. I've reached out to a couple pond management companies about helping me clear it up and have been told each time that my pond isn't big enough to be worth the effort, so I would like to try to do something myself, but don't know how.

I'm reading through all the forum posts now for info, but if there are any glaring "gotchas" I should know about, please feel free to school me. I'll post my results here once I figure out what I'm doing. smile

Stay safe and be well!
