Do some plants add more oxygen to water than others? Or use less when they're light-deprived and need to respire?

Can I bump this? I thought it was an interesting question.

You know the answer.....It Depends.

It is a very interesting question. There are many variables, not limited to preferred water temps and other conditions, relative mass of the plants in a certain quantity of water, light intensity, water fertility, on and on.

I'll be waiting for wisdom on this one.
