Not sure. I did see some perch feeding on pellets early in the year, but once the bass got active very, very, rarely did I observe them or not at all. Later in the season I did not observe any perch feeding. However farther out there were some fish feeding that could have been perch, but they acted more like small bass.

Absolutely. They are quite timid with the bass around. When they did rarely come up it was very quickly and back down again.

They seem to be most active close to evening and I have read this in literature also. Seems contradictory to tyical wild perch though doesn't it?
