Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations Issues with PB Forum - Photobucket & Search

Is anyone experiencing issues with photobucket hosting and search functions on this forum? Maybe I'm missing something.

Right now, most images I'm seeing on posts hosted on photobucket are blurred out with apparently no prospect of being able to view the real thing, even when right-clicking and attempting to view the image alone. This seems to be a recent development, unless I'm losing my mind.

The other issue is that when I use the "search" function on this forum, it is completely hit-or-miss as far as usefulness. For example, if I search for "LMB" in a simple or an advanced search, I get zero results?

Unless the poster pays a fee every month, their Photobucket pictures are now blurred. It was a classic "bait and switch" scheme. For a long time Photobucket was free. Once they got folks dependent on their site, they switched to a payment or be blurred plan.

I've never gotten the forum search engine to work. I use Google. Just google the topic you want and end the search with the words, Pond Boss.

Okay, great. "Blurred plan" being "Totally Useless Plan" in common parlance...


I've used Google before, but had limited success with the forum search. Since the forum search is of limited value, can we just remove it from the forum and put a stick in one of the main topic areas with instructions for searching on Google?

Here are the details from Photobucket. What a joke, "250 images / 2.5GB storage" but only 25MB/mo of hosting bandwidth...
