yeah I was pretty excited. I have caught them on our place on trail camera before and a couple years ago we ran into two small bulls sparring in the middle of the road, but this was the first one I have seen in person on our property. The moose population around us must be doing well. Last year they introduced an "experimental" moose season for our unit. The DOW wouldn't do that unless they were happy with the numbers.

I don't understand how the heck someone mistakenly shoots a moose.
