The pump is 80 watts. Amperage capacity is 1.6. I don�t know how important it is to run the pump continuously, but I would think even if it shuts off for a few hours it would still be helpful for the pond quality. If the battery dies overnight, would it just recharge in the morning and then after it is charged the pump will run? Or are you saying it will try to charge the battery and run the pump at the same time and that won�t work?
