I have talked it over with several hatcheries in Arkansas which produce bass. Right now, they don't see the value, or the market. Part of their thinking is since females become largest, if they used triploidy for bass, half the fish would be useless (the males). But, their decisions mainly stem from a lack of interest in the marketplace.
