Does anyone know of any other websites concerning pond and lake building out there? I have found sites about those little garden ponds but nothing on bigger ponds and lakes. I want to put in a pond next summer if it is dry enough and I would like to get as much knowledge about it as possible before I start this do it yourself project. This site is really great. Thanks.

Mossie, To the best of my knowledge, Jimmy is right. An awful lot of States and their Universities have pond related web sites. Many vendors have great informational web sites based on their product and experience. All of these are great but there doesn't appear to be another forum like Pond Boss. Lusk and Company have pretty well lapped the field.
You can increase your level of success by studying the individual web sites but then come back here to use the forum. These guys answer questions that I'm too ignorant to ask. Also, I would not proceed without Lusks book and a magazine subscription.
Have fun and keep your checkbook handy.

I've searched the web a LOT and have found that this sight has answered all of my questions and some I didn't even think about in the past. I've read most of the old posts and I feel it was time well spent. I also have three books, a magazine subscription, and come back a few times a week. This place is the best! Thanks to everybody on it.
