When you say "no suplemental feeding" are you referring to pellet feed or is the only other thing in the pond the carp?
I've been told by a biologist the gorilla bass are the domesticated feed trained northern bass, the tiger bass are the hybrid using gorilla bass and florida bass brooders. Is that what you have?
We need more info as in the size of the bass and if there is any forage in the pond i.e. bluegills, shiners, fatheads etc, but carp, unless they are grass carp, are the last thing I would put into a pond.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
