I dug roughly a 1/2 acre pond about 3.5 years ago in NE Iowa. It is about 18' deep and I do run aeration year round. I stocked it with hybrid/regular bluegill, largemouth and catfish. The first year and a half you couldn't cast without pulling out fish. Late last year and so far this year I am beginning to wonder if there are any fish in the pond anymore. I have never seen a floater and am curious if I should feed/not feed, aerate/not aerate or just quit worrying about it because they are fine? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
