As in other aspects of pond management don't forget to take care of the cause.
Beaver will persistantly try to repair what they perceive as a leaking dam.
If you are successful in unstopping the pipe they will try to plug that hole again.
It's trapping season & your local wildlife officer should be able to line you up with a trustworthy trapper if you're not inclined to take care of it yourself. There are seldom just one or 2.
