First I would like to ask, what is the "official" difference between a lake and a pond??
Secondly, We don't seem to talk about "large" bodies of water very much...it is almost assumed that all ponds and lakes are 'clumped' into the same ol category when it comes to stocking and management..
It seems to me that there are different practices and oppertunities on a body of water that is say 5 acres, than one that is an acre or smaller.
Then there are a few people on this sight that have REALLY big lakes like 20 acres or more. I am sure they have even more oppertunites and management practices with their ponds or lakes.
Is what I'm saying makeing sense??
