Hello There. Just bought a property with a small pond on it. It's around 2/10 of an acre on the surface and is around 6-8 foot deep. There are blue cats in it now that will come to floating food. Haven't seen any other fish. Most cats I've counted is around 8 fish. I am in the process of building a few bait traps to see what type of bait fish are in there. The cat fish look to be around 10-20lbs. What is a realistic number of cats I should shoot for in a pond that size if I supplement feed them and have a healthy bait fish population? Also I'm not sure of any structure in the pond yet. I plan on adding some in the future. Will blue cats reproduce in a pond this size?
