Status is: Pond finished in April,a bout when it quit raining in TN. It went from two acres, to one acre and held. I noted that we did not seal where the spring went underground, (in the lake floor) as was recommended, after viewing satellite photos, and pictures of construction. They pond was losing 1" a day. I hired a dozer back out, and he put a foot but probably two of clay, over where the spring was going in.
water has been holding over his work. I gained an acre on Tuesday, freshly covering the acre which had dried, making it about the original 2 acres I had upon completion. It has gone down an inch, probably due to wicking, as of last night.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It cost so freakin much, I can't really talk about it much, unless it's successful.
