Dudley, I remember hearing about mild mannered DI's. Can't say that I have any personal knowledge of same. Not that they didn't have any touchy-feely in them. It's just that all of the touching and feeling came via boot soles. Rude bunch as I recall but they did understand the basics of motivation.
