QA - If you are only dealing with short periods of ice cover is Winter aeration and diffuser placement that critical??
Ultimately. This is my question. We may get two ice overs a winter that could last a few weeks a piece. Am I wasting electricy? Any tangible benefits to attempting to keep a 8 foot hole open?
