I don't have any real answer other than doing what you've been doing - keep moving till you find them. Last year I bought an adapter to fit a cordless drill to my 5" ice auger. Best thing ever; no gas, always runs, light weight, drills fast. That and a flasher if you have or can borrow one lets you punch lots of holes and cover water fast. Last Saturday i found fish in one of the deepest parts of our pond, about 20'. Action was fast on small jigs and wax worms. BG with one decent BCP and one small LMB. Fish fry was great. Good Luck!
