i am a new pond owner in eastern north carolina. i just finished reading raising trophy bass by bob lusk which was a tremendous learning tool for me. my pond is about 3/4 acres with an average depth of 9 feet deep and no areas less than 4 feet deep. i am also using an aerator and once my pond is stocked i will be using a fish feeder. one subject i do not understand is lime. will it really hurt my pond if i do not lime it.help?
