Pond stocked two years ago is ten minutes away from home. Plan is to build a camp beside the pond. A larger pond will result from excavation (selling dirt) now underway, but will probably be too deep at thirty or more feet to be a first rate fishery. With no power available for aeration I expect turnovers and fishkills. I'm toying with the idea of bullfrogs then an initial stocking of fatheads and threadfin, then bluegill and redear followed by Florida and native bass a few months later. All still undecided.
I fish infrequently, most of my time spent cutting grass and spraying duckweed - not too bad but not a whole lot of fun either.
No aquarium in childhood.
