Attached is a diagram of what I was describing about the placement of the check valve in red. I was also wondering if I could place a ball valve that could be accessed on the vent pipe inside the vent supply pipe in the diagram? I'm not sure whether the ball valve has to be on the crossbar of the vent pipe? All comments appreciated! Thanks! Heppy
