I'll never buy BG again. There are too many local places to get them legally. Neighbor's ponds, local public lake, etc. It's legal to stock from public waters as long as all possession and size limits are observed. You just cannot legally return them once stocked. My non feed trained adult BG feed trained within weeks.
The guy I got BG and LMB from has stocked three ponds from legal catches on public waters; BG, LMB, RES, and BC. The only fish he bought was CC, because he wanted them in larger numbers than anyone could easily catch.
It's really a moot point for me, because all our local ponds are connected in some way to the White River, Lake Sequoyah, and Beaver Reservoir. Anything we have in our ponds could go either way, given a sufficient flooding event.
