I thought I had my ponds going very well, then the otters hit and wiped out my catfish I planned on eating for this year. Probably $200 plus worth of CC feed down the otter gullets, plus the cost of the fish, and time feeding them. At least eight were 3 to 7 pound albino CC.
The point is, you never know. You could start over, then some idiot could bucket stock your pond with GSF or whatever about two or three years down the road.
