If you want to start over (kill everything in the pond) you can do it several ways. Hydrated lime is one way. If you decide to do that then drain the pond or pump out as much as possible - then apply the lime. By adding the highly active hydrated lime you quickly raise the ph. to the death level. By doing this you use less lime and as the pond refills it quickly becomes stockable.
