Channel cats are a put and take in my pond (roughly the same size as yours). I stock 12 to 15 and then harvest them when they reach 3 pounds or so. Then I restock. You might want to let yours get a little bigger to be more effective on the 3 to 5 inch BG.


I don't have access to Blues. I would love to try some hybrid blues (cross between Channel and Blue) as they are supposed to grow more quickly.
