A 30 ft pontoon is exactly what I am using for a dock!! It has the factory metal cover. My TH feeder is mounted on one corner of it. I built a walkway out to it with wood. I stabilized the boat to the shore with long pipe poles that are hooked to augers in the ground. Have been using it for 3 years now and we love it. Kids swim off of it.Have a peddle boat and a tiny bass boat moared to it for easy access. Have electricity run down to it for lights and fans, radio etc. Bought mine for $3000. Launched it. Sold the trailer for $1500. Could not have built all that for $1500. Send me a PM Dale and I can arrange to text you some pictures of what I did if you like.
