Big Bertha
Caught this big girl yesterday in the middle of a cool Texas Fall afternoon on a large shad colored willow blade spinner. Guess the pond wasn't completely empty when I stocked it this March. 8 lbs. 1.5 oz. Wasn't able to get a length.

Have you done any stocking, thinking the pond was empty? A hog like that would destroy any small fish stocked in very short order....

I did unfortunately stock back in March thinking the pond was empty. I do however, have a lot of takers coming to feed every evening so I don�t have a shortage of fish at least at this point.
