the problem could be the amount of crappie in the lake. the crappie can take over a lake as bass can. they are competing against each other. they are the predetors of a lake. the bass you have stocked have probally not grown too much, so they are hard to catch. having brim in the lake is great, bass love them. i would check out the food supply, maybe shock the lake and get the crappie out of it. i enjoy bass fishing more than catching crappie. that is my take.....
