GB - Congrats on finishing the levee and getting ready to move on. First I will tell you that you will get GREAT advice on this forum. I am not downplaying their advice. I would take their trusted advice and then take it one step further. I would reach out to a trusted consultant and pay for a few hours or more of help on this project. You have already spent a ton of money, what is a few dollars more in the grand scheme. Not only will a good consultant listen to your goals but they will suggest numbers, species AND suppliers who they have had success with over the years. Remember, a supplier may be nothing more than a supplier of fish. There are good suppliers who will help you and then there are suppliers who will look at what they have and what they want to sell to you. You can't go wrong putting the FHM's in now. Just one guy's opinion of what I would do if I won the lottery and built a 35 acre lake.
