Jim, actually Throggs Neck has held up pretty well (by today's standards). There aren't any more undeveloped lots though. Fishing in the LI Sound must have been great back then, it was bad back in the late 70's early 80's, but it's come back. We commonly catch 15- 20 lb Stripers and Blues under the bridges and off Fort Totten.
