Looks like a big rain is headed your way.

I'm not sure how one even goes about preparing for up to 35" of rainfall.

Some stations are saying 40 to 47 inches of rain. Very few structures will survive the wind and water.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

We wished I could have siphoned some water out of my pond if we are going to have a week of rain. It is already going over the spillway.

I hope all stay safe and damage is minimal, yet ocean front living in hurricane alley is always a "when it hits, not if, proposition", but still devestating... frown Praying here, as I have a daughter and friends in the area along with many of our brethren....

Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected. I can't begin to imagine that much rain in a few days.

Here in the College Station area we are about 150 miles from the coast, yet the local grocery stores looked as if they had been ransacked. I stopped at Krogers after work and they were sold outta anything worth eatin'........ They had no beer, pork rinds, or even Little Debbie snack cakes left....WTH!

Kelly Duffie has water in his neighborhood. I think it would have to come up another 3-4' before he has problems. As of this morning it has stabilized but more rain is on the way in the next several days

The latest National Hurricane Center forecast has it slowly moving to the northeast, and not re-tracing.

We've had 15" of rain fall since Saturday afternoon...and it's still raining. My wife walked down to the pond yesterday. It was clearly out out of its banks. The siphon is desperately trying to keep up. My concern is a nearby creek overflowing into the pond. I will attempt to walk down and survey the scene.

Damn, brother...you gettin' bad as Debbie...sheesh! The walk was better than expected. The ponds way out of the normal banks right now. But, the rain does need to stop soon...the creek is about a foot from coming over into the pond or vice versa. I'm glad to hear you got a few inches to maybe top you off...

I don't think any of the leggs got away....YET...but, if it doesn't quit raining, I'll lose a lot more than that.

Historic flooding and destruction down on the coast, and it's still a few more days until the flood water crests. I have to say I'm very proud of my guys, and I know they're doing a great job. Here they are leaving for Houston last Thursday evening.

Thanks for sharing the video, Al very impressive to say the least!

As is the fellow Texan's coming to the aid of one another. It's heartwarming to see folks pulling together, and during a crisis like this there's no different skin color, religion, or political beliefs, it's just plain being an American and doing what you can to offer help!

Seeing a fellow in long dreads, pants below the waist and carrying an elderly man out of a flooded home shows the true spirit of who we are and who we can be!

I hope all PB'rs and their families are safe and God bless those offering help in any way they can.

Keith
