I wouldn't use the BT in that for deer or hogs, I don't think it will hold up enough to get good penetration. If you are strictly head shooting them, then it doesn't matter. BUT, if shooting them in the body, I'd look for something that was constructed more solidly, like the Barnes TSX bullet.

My concern for the BT in that caliber is that it's not heavy enough to retain a lot of weight for body shots at high impact velocities.

I agree with HF, try a heavier bullet.
