I'm about to purchase a truck load of pea gravel to put in my pond for Bass and Bluegill to spawn on. What's the best size? I have three choices:
Small- Lima Bean Size
Medium- Nickel and Dime Size
Large- Golf Ball and Egg Size.
Also what are the best depths for placement for the Bass and Bluegill? I was thinking 2 ft for the Bluegill and 3-4 ft for the Bass.

I would go with the smallest size as I've seen centrarcids nest in sand. Your depths sound about right.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I went with a dump truck load of the small pea gravel. I hope the fish like it  .
