be sure and get a pipe that is in a oval shape(i think this is the write word)it;s not comletely round,the bottom side is flat.this let's more water out than a round pipe.i have a 12" pipe on a 4 1/2 acre pond but it only gets about 1/2-3/4 full of water.next time i would use the above type pipe.
