I see the internet as a huge library, and that's where many people go to learn. I see a lot of the photos as parts of the text book so to speak, not just put up there frivolously.
Well said. I would not be able to do 3/4 of what I am able to without it. I love to learn and read but the net has made things SOO much more accessible. Its hard to swallow buying a 600 dollar caterpillar service manual for one of the several engines or machines you are working on. The net has made it possible to "afford" to learn and be able to fix things.
