Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations Mudpuppy's

Three years ago we stocked a handfull of Mudpups in a small shallow pond. In the same area is several other ponds where yellow spotted salamanders and newts lay out every year. We did lime all the ponds last year and when ice was out and had some warm days we noticed that the mudpuppys had multiplied greatly after not seeing any for the last three years. Anyone with hands on info please let us know we do not think it was the liming but I could be wrong {won't be the first time}
