Hiblow are for shallow water applications and the pump would struggle in your application. If it were my pond I would use a dual diffuser in the larger area and a single head diffuser in the shallower area. If you used these diffusers in a northern MI pond you would only need to run the pump 2-4 hrs per day. Winter running, long enough to open an area about 25-35ft in dia. then an additional 1-2 hrs.
