Is it possible to over aerate a lake using bottom diffusers? If so what will happen?

Over aerating causes turbidity due to resuspension of the smallest particulates - sediments. However aeration is on a continuum scale or degree from none(inadequate) to constant turbulence as in wastewater treatment plants. I have seen water soaked neutrally buoyant leaves moving in the current of a small pond with strong aeration. Example of Over-aerating http://www.ssiaeration.com/systems/
