I'm near St. Louis, and my 5 acre lake has been ice free for 2 weeks now. Went fishing last week and this week almost everyday. Caught 2 fat 3 pounders and several dinks.Also the b-gill are cruising the shallows on the sunny days, even got a few to take some feed.Water temp. is in the low 50's.....Looking good here
