Got my Pond King Pro pontoon boat delivered today -- its even better than I hoped. Super stable, very safe for kids.
With the boat and a little help from my friends, (okay, so a lot of help) made and placed six brushpiles in lake. One protects a spawning bed on what was supposed to be a sand beach, two are under the dock, and three are within casting distance of the dock.
We will make & place more, but this is a good start.
Also caught a dozen mostly CNBG and bucket transplanted them into the upper forage pond. We are blessed that the forage pond can be drained directly into the main lake, which we plan to do eventually after the CNBG spawn.
I fired up the TH feeders and they are working fine. Fish ate feed, but not yet at full speed. Two six second daily feeds per feeder (I have 3) should be okay.
Best sight of all was a 12 to 14 inch long LMB cruising among the CNBG near the feeder. Some of these bass are growing fast!
