I am trying to feed my catfish and bluegill in my 1/2 acre pond, but the wind here in nebraska is so bad, it blows the food to the shore before the fish can even find it. What can I do? We have about 1 calm evening here a week. I would like to fee them more often than that.

John Wayne,
You can make a floating feed "ring" with 4 pieces of pvc and 4 90 degree elbows. Anchor the ring out in the pond and throw your food into ring. Contains feed within feed ring so it doesn't blow onto shore.

Or use a length of flexible plastic pipe, one plastic-to-plastic connector, and two hose clamps to make one.
