I use remote read digital thermometer used by anglers or homeowners for daily temperature monitoring. Depending of brand and model the length of the wired probe varies homeowners - shorter home owner probes 3-10ft, anglers 50-100ft. My sophisticated, high dollar DO meter also has temperature sensor with 30ft probe.

DEPTH WATER TEMPERATURE GAUGE
