That's very common now. I've heard of these "unveiling" events everywhere these days. Seems to be an excuse for the husband to throw a party. I've never heard of needing a permit to shoot tannerite in my county. I'm a bit shocked that the folks of Lincoln Nebraska would require a permit, those are pretty good people.
