"Bass fry come off the nest and look for cover and weeds, rock, gravel or brush. But little crappie tend to be pelagic as they move offshore to open water to feed on plankton. Sparse use of Fish Attractor structors do not and will not serve as good nursery habitat for crappie fry."
These facts about very young crappie are why HSB are very good at reducing recruitment of young crappie.
